I made a last minute trip to Santa Barbara and thought I would pop in at Deux for a few chocolate eclairs to take home. Alas, they were sold out, so I 'settled' for a couple of muffins. Believe me that oatmeal muffin was absolutely delicious and I wish I'd bought more. Next time I'll be smart and phone in an order for my eclairs, but I'm definitely going to include oatmeal muffins as well.
Tiny shop, but well stocked. The baguette here was very good. They have a nice variety of sweet and savory treats. I will have to come back and try their pretzels next time. Service was very friendly and they were not too busy at all. Easy parking right up front.
Everything is yummy. And they have a bread-slicer! Huzzah! Bread, pastries, sandwiches - All are great!

Wonderful French pastry, served by a welcoming baker in a tiny space filled with glass cases of beautiful, French pastries, eclairs and scones. Each pastry and large coffee were $4.50 each. So delicious and pretty messy to eat in the car! But, well worth it!
Amazing panini await you at this quaint bakery. Think bakery fresh bread grilled, crisp, and buttery. Add ham, mild white cheese, dijon mustard, and fresh, thinly sliced green apples. Very European and flavorful. Staff were attentive and well versed in their products. They have a full suite of scones, pastries, and tastebud transformative bread. I'll be back!
This bakery is on the more small and cosy side but packs a punch when it comes to delicious food and variety. The interior is clean and all the display cases were filled with delectable food.I had a caprese panini that was nothing short of amazing! The bread was light and perfectly toasted and loaded with mozzarella, pesto and other goodies. I also split a strawberry scone with my hubby. The scone was on the thinner side which was new to me but super delicious as it was easier to taste and enjoy all the other ingredients. Customer Service was excellent. The young lady who helped us (America) was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it so much and plan to visit again.
If you come here (which you should), come here for the cinnamon buns. I recommend leaving with at least two. That way if someone steals one of your hot commodities, you have the reassurance that you will be eating this delicious treat! The staff was so friendly and helpful here. The bakery is small so you do have to wait if there is a person or two ahead of you. When I arrived there was a couple who ordered 6 baguettes. They ordered so much bread it made me wonder if I should order some myself! Hot tip, this bakery is also known for their crostinis if you are ever in need. I ordered: 2 cinnamon buns 1 guava cream pastry 1 jalapeño ham and cheese pastry 1 doggie treat (free) Everything was yummy. But, if I had to order again, I would come for the cinnamon bun and the cinnamon bun alone. It was absolutely delicious and such a large size. Yummy!
So good that even my grandma who doesn't eat sweets LOVED IT!! Hands down the BEST bakery and pastry shop in Santa Barbara! I originally have never heard of this place, but after seeing my fellow Yelpers post delicious looking pics, I knew I had to try it! Thank goodness I did because it was so good! The best cinnamon roll I have ever had. The pastry itself wasn't sweet but the icing and cinnamon sugar mixture made it the perfect amount of sweetness! It was so good I could probably eat 3 in one sitting. I will definitely be coming back to try some more pastries (especially those croissants & soft pretzels)! On top of it all, the workers were super sweet! You can tell everyone is close knit! Tip -- you can only get the soft pretzels if you preorder them a day in advance!
